Methacton’s earned a 6-0 win this afternoon at Owen J. Roberts. The team was led by sophomore Ben Christian who threw six shutout innings on the mound to earn the victory, while adding two hits and two RBI at the plate. Demetrio Rodriguez added two hits, including a leadoff home run and a double off the fence in straightway center field. He also added a putout in center field and closed the game out on the mound by pitching a scoreless seventh inning. Sophomore Perry Corda came up with a big two out, two run, double out of the nine hole. The win puts the Warriors at 1-1 on the season with a home game coming up tomorrow at 4:00 vs. Norristown.
