McCrane & Rothman lead Warriors to PAC-10 Win

Senior Jess McCrane scored two goals, while Freshman Brittany Dickinson and Junior Asia Crawford added one each to lead the Warriors to a 4-1 win over PAC-10 rival Spring-Ford. McCrane opened the scoring just over one and a half minutes into the game to put the Warriors on top and add ed her second goal with 8 minutes remaining in the half to give Methacton a 2-0 lead into halftime. Dickinson scored on a corner five minutes into the second half before Spring-Ford could answer, scoring on their second penalty stroke of the game. Crawford added an insurance goal with just under 15 minutes remaining in the game to secure the win. Senior Alyssa Rothman had another stellar game in the cage, posting 14 saves. Seniors Allison Carr & Alexa Peters and Sophomore Alexa Hoover each added an assist.
Methacton is 5-4-1 in the PAC-10, 6-5-1 overall. The Warriors will travel to Wissahickon Thursday 10/6, game time is set for 3:20pm.
