Field Hockey ties visiting CB East

On a cold, rainy, windy afternoon, the Warriors started quickly getting 2 goals from Jackie Cerchio in the first 10 minutes but could not hold on to the lead. Visiting CB East got on the scoreboard before half time and scored the equalizer halfway through the second half. Addie Frey made 3 saves and Katy Benton added an assist. Saturdays game was the programs Play 4 the Cure game to raise awareness and money for cancer research. So far the hockey team as raised over 1,500 dollars. This was the final game of the regular season for both teams.
The Warriors begin district playoffs Wednesday the 26th hosting either #13 Neshaminy or #20 Council Rock North. Methacton is the #4 seed and has a bye on Monday.
