9/9 Norristown

The Methacton Boys soccer team went into the Fridays match with Norristown, still angry from on overtime loss to Spring Ford, one game ago, and decided to play team soccer to welcome the new Pac member Norristown to our turf field.  First half was scoreless until a late corner where senior Kevin Conrad sent a head ball to sophomore Logan Rambo to open the scoring of the game.

The warriors were told to score early into the second half and that they did.  In the opening minutes of the second half, Kevin Conrad put another corner ball in to open the second half.  With a heads up play, junior Vince Delisi took the ball off a defender and blasted a 30 yard shot past the Norristown Keeper.  On the pursuing tap, sophomore Chris Meehan stole the ball beat a few defenders and scored a blast from the 25-yard mark in Messi fashion.  Kevin Conrad added his second while Mike Realbuto and Connor Bossard finished up the scoring for the Warriors.   Assists were from Kevin Conrad, Ryan Kavanaugh, Logan Rambo, Trevor Taylor and two from Nick Coffin.

Junior Keeper Mason Lesage had three saves and notched his second shutout of the season.
