The girls track and field team put the foot on the gas at the start of the meet and never let up as they ran their season mark to 3 - 0 with two PAC 10 victories. Perkiomen Valley was determined to put an end to Methacton's 10 yr unbeaten streak, but the Lady Warriors ended their dream early, winning the meet 101-49.  Methacton also beat Pottsgrove 144 - 6.

The first event on the track was the 300M Hurdles, where Caroline Duffy and Nicolette Serratore placed 1st and 2nd to set the tone. In the field, Jenny Martin and Aghina Marshall went 1/2 in the Long Jump, Fallon Brown and Marshall went 1/2 in the High Jump, Sarah Burry/Brown went 1/2 in the Pole Vault and Tae Ellis and Emily Nice went 1/2 in the discus in all of the opening events. Those performances, coupled with the surprising 1600M win by Abby Konkoly and the dominance in the remaining events by a fired up squad led to the complete team victory.  Other event winners included Jenny Martin (100M Hurdles), Nicolette Serratore (triple jump and javelin), 4x100 relay (Amy Domenick, Kelly Groth, Gianna Fazio and Rainah Dunham), Tae Ellis (Shot Put) and the 4x400 Relay (Jess Holub, Rainah Dunham, Lauren Prusacki and Angela Ramsden).

The girls return to their PAC 10 schedule on Monday against a 3 - 1 OJR team.
