Girls Track and Field Practice During Spring Break - Update!!

Updated on 06/10/2022

***Update on Monday's practice***

Due to the weather, we will now have practice from 3 - 5 pm this afternoon instead of the initial 11 am starting time. The HS will be closed, so please plan to meet on the track. Coaches understand that the time change may make it difficult for some to attend. Unfortunately, due to the weather, holding practice at the original time is not an option.

There will be practice for members of the Girls Track and Field Team on Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2 from 11 am - 1 pm. We also have a meet scheduled for Saturday, March 31. Please contact a coach if you can not attend either of the practices or the meet.

**There will be an update in regards to Monday's practice if the weather causes a cancelation.

Girls Track and Field moves to 2-0 with win over Spring-Ford

Updated on 06/10/2022

A year ago the Girls Track and Field team lost to the Spring-Ford Rams for the first time in the programs history. This year was a different story. The Lady Warriors put together a complete team effort and handed the Rams their first lost of the season 86.5-63.5 in a two-day meet. With the winds gusting at over 40 mph, the javelin and pole vault needed to be contested in order to finish the meet on Day 2, but all other events took place in the harsh elements.

Although the conditions were less than ideal, the number of outstanding performances are almost too numerous to mention. Winning their events were:  Amy Domenick (300H, 200M), Katelyn Evans (Long Jump, 100M), Julie Byrne (400M), Fallon Brown (High Jump), Camille Dunham (Triple Jump), Maggie Welsh (Javelin), and both the 4x100 (Meredith O'Donnell, Dunham, Evans, Lauren Prusacki) and 4x400 (Juliana Keenan, Domenick, Prusacki, Byrne) relay teams. Notable "gutsy" efforts were also achieved by Sarah Nicoletti, Carly Ukalovic, Tina Prince, Nicole Cooper, Sydney Hargove, Marina Daywalt, Caitlyn McClure, Nickie Annelli, Camaryn Rodriguez, Madi Eastmure, Corrine Meyer and Sabrina Williams.

The girls travel to West Chest University on Friday and return to PAC action on Wednesday at Norristown.

Girls Track and Field wraps up the week in "Record Fashion"

Updated on 06/10/2022

After improving their record to 3-0 with a 123-26 win over Norristown on Wednesday, the Girls Track and Field team traveled to Upper Moreland on Friday night for the first annual John Heins Invitational. The girls again had an outstanding team performance, this time highlighted by a new School Record in the Pole Vault. Junior Camaryn Rodriguez cleared 11' 6" to win the event and set the new school mark. Fellow junior, Nickie Annelli,  also had a huge PR in the event, clearing 10-6, which was good enough for 3rd place. The two currently rank 1st and 3rd in District 1.

Sophomore Kate Evans continued her phenomenal season, placing 2nd in the Long Jump, with a leap of 16' 11.5", which also qualified her for the District 1 Championships in May. Evans was also 8th in the 200M and 9th in the 100M. Juliana Keenan, Lauren Prusacki and Amy Domenick joined Evans in the 4x100 Relay, placing 3rd, with a time of 50.13, the 3rd fastest in District 1. Domenick also placed 4th in the 300M Hurdles and 6th in the 100M. She joined Prusacki, Keenan and Camille Dunham in the 4x400 relay, which also placed 4th. Dunham added 2 fifth place finishes, one in the Long Jump and one in the Triple Jump. Fallon Brown placed 4th in the triple jump.

The hurdlers for the Lady Warriors had a great night as well. In addition to Domenick's 4th in the 300 Hurdles, Sabrina Williams took 2nd in the 100M Hurdles, followed by a 3rd place finish by Marina Daywalt and a 6th place finish by Madi Eastmure. Daywalt was also 10th in the 300M Hurdles and Juliana Keenan was 9th in the event. Other top 10 performances included:  4x800 Relay (6th - Mary Abraham, Tina Prince, Julia Malachowski, Carly Ukalovic), Corrine Meyer (7th - High Jump), Sarah Nicoletti (8th - 1600M), Lauren Prusacki (8th - 100M), Madi Eastmure (9th - High Jump) and Sydney Hargrove (9th - Discus).

The girls battle Owen J. Roberts for their last home meet of the season on Wednesday.
