Sophomore Ava Wolf’s 22-point, nine-rebound effort helped keep Methacton rolling on Thursday as the Warriors jumped out to a 12-point halftime lead at Pottsgrove before putting the game out of reach with a dominant third quarter. It was the fifth straight win for Methacton (7-6, 3-4 PAC), which also received 16 points and eight rebounds from Penny Wolf in the win. The Warriors will look to make it six in a row on Saturday afternoon when they host Mount Saint Joseph Academy.
Layla Jelbaoui’s 12 points, six rebounds and three steals led the charge for Pottsgrove, while Thelia Dellaquilla and Vivian Kyler also reached double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Joz Cilio knocked down three triples for nine points and Kendra Ivory grabbed 16 boards in the loss for the Falcons (5-8, 4-3), who will host Spring-Ford on Monday.
