The Methacton Boys Basketball team defeated Marple-Newtown by a score of 76-60 in the first round of the PIAA District One playoffs on Friday night.  The Warriors used a balanced scoring attack including Justin Ardman (20 points), Tom Dyer (20 points, 7 rebounds), Chris McCarthy (18 points, 7 rebounds), and Sean Mann (15 points, 8 assists) to come away with the win.  With the win Methacton moves to 22-3 on the season.  Next up for the Warriors is a second round game at home against Phoenixville on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
