Senior Ellie Schmidt scored 5 goals to lead Methacton over visiting Upper Merion. The Vikings got on board first but the Warriors responded with 11 straight goals to take a commanding 11-1 lead at half. Sophomore Sara Hughes scored three goals while Junior Casey Reid and Sophomore Deb Peifer each tallied two. Senior Kelly Glatthorn, Sophomores Lauren Hughes and Maddie Alderfer, along with freshman Jackie Cerchio each added a goal while Senior Caroline Douglass added two assists. Junior Sam Rothman made 7 saves in the win. The Warriors uped their record to 6-3 overall, travel to Upper Perk Monday night at 7pm for a PAC-10 matchup.
