Hello Parents,

We have many boys that have handed in the pizza letter and money, but many have not as well.  If you still have not printed the pizza letter, please do so from my website.

The pizza party is on Thursday, November 7 from 3-5. 

Uniform collection will also take place on Thursday before the pizza party.

I am unable to be in school on Wednesday, November 6.  Please have your son give the pizza party letter and money to Mr. Raley.

Here is this weeks schedule for boys soccer.  No uniforms will be collected until Thursday at 3pm.

If you have not received a pizza letter from your son, please go to my teacher website, click on Soccer and print out the letter.

Monday, November 4  -  Hand in pizza letter and payment to Mr. Raley (I will not be in today.)

Tuesday, November 5 - in-service day

Wednesday, November 6 - hand in pizza letter and payment to Mr. Raley (I will not be in today.)  I have extended the due date because of my absences.

Thursday, November 7 - Uniform collection (please wash them) and Pizza party 3-5  (prompt pickup at 5 in the front of the school)

Hello Parents,

The pizza letter/uniform collection instructions are on my website.  Please print it out, fill it out and have your son bring it in to me with the proper amount of money for the pizza party.  I handed it out to all of the 8th grade soccer team that went to the PV West game today.  I am asking that the 7th grade soccer team see me on Thursday for a copy of the letter. 

November 7 is the date of the pizza party and uniform collection.  Please see the letter for specifics.

Hello parents,

Your son or daughter participated in a fall sport.  If they are interested in trying out for a winter sport (girls' basketball, boys basketball, wrestling), all they need is recertification packet, filled out by you.  This packet is entirely blue and can be picked up from the athletic table outside of room 281.  It will soon be on the Arcola Athletics website.

Your son or daughter already had their imPACT concussion test completed for the fall season.  They do not need to redo it for the winter season.

You already paid the athletic fee for the school.  You do not need to pay this fee again this year.

I hope this helps direct you towards the winter season.

As some of you have seen already, the game against Pottstown on Friday, 10/11 has been cancelled due to an insufficient amount of players for Pottstown.  I am not aware at this time of a make-up date.  Practice on Thursday is still ON at this time. All after school athletics are being cancelled today, due to the tornado watch until 5pm.  With this said, we have an away game tomorrow at Pottsgrove.  It is being played at Pottsgrove High School.  I will send out directions this afternoon.  Dismissal is 2:18 and Departure is 2:35.  We are wearing all green.

It is that time of year again to find out how many 7th and 8th grade boys soccer players are playing on travel teams that are participating in the Cape May Tournament (I believe it is over the Columbus wknd, correct?).  Please reply to this if your son is participating in the Cape May Tournament and what time you will be leaving on that Friday evening.  We have an Arcola game that day.  I would like to leave the game on that day if everyone is leaving after the Arcola game.  Please let me know.

The game at OJR is being played on the grass field below their tennis courts parking lot.  It is located between the high school and the middle school. If the parking lot is chained off please park up top. I hope this helps you to find the field a bit faster.

The PV West game on Friday will be for 8th grade only.  PV West team does not have enough players to field two teams.  The 7th grade team does NOT have to dress in shirt and tie on Friday.  Also, the 7th grade team does NOT have practice on Friday either.

The 8th grade team DOES need to dress in shirt and tie with jeans or pants. (No shorts)  Ties should be tied properly and shirts tucked in to the pants.  The 8th grade team is dismissed at 2:18 and the bus will depart promptly at 2:35.  The game is at PV West Middle School.  Directions are on my website. 

The game on Monday, September 23 is away against Daniel Boone Middle School.  Both 7th and 8th grade teams will be going to this game.  The teams should be dismissed at 2:18 and the bus will depart promptly at 2:35.  Both teams will be required to dress in shirt and tie with jeans or pants on Monday.  We will be wearing all green. Just a few reminders and this weeks daily schedule.

1.  Please remember to park in the parking spaces when picking up your son at the end of practice.

2.  We have team pictures on Tuesday.  We are wearing white jerseys, green shorts, and white socks.  All players will have their individual pictures taken even if they are not getting pictures.  Please have your son return the picture packet whether you are getting pictures or not.  All athletes will receive a proof for you to look at when the pictures come in. 

3.  We are practicing after pictures.  They should not practice in their game uniform.  Please make sure they have their practice gear along with them.

4.  Soccer spiritwear orders should be handed in to the coaches this week.

This week's practices will be held on the Skyview Soccer Field (our home game field).  Parent pickup will continue to be from the front entrance at  5:00.  Please be prompt when picking up your sons.  Repeated late pickups (after 5:15) could result in dismissal from the team.

Hello Boys Soccer Parents and Players,

We will not have practice on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

We will resume practice on Wednesday, Sept 4.  Practice will be immediately after school from 3-5pm.  The boys should bring all equipment including water to school.  They should NOT bring their soccer balls. 

Pick up at the end of practice will take place at the front entrance of the school.  Please be there by 5:00.  Do NOT park along the driveway.  Please park in the parking lot.  There will be a lot of cars.  You might have to park a distance from the entrance.  Please walk to the main entrance to pick up your son. 

If you allow your son to walk home from Arcola, please send in a note letting me know this.

We will NOT practice on Thursday, Sept 5 due to the day off from school.

We will practice on Friday, Sept. 6.

Hopefully, this will help you plan accordingly for this week.
