I have yet to hear back from Upper Merion, so here is the address to Caley Elem. School.  This is where their website says that boys soccer plays.  If I hear from them on Monday, I will send the new information out to you ASAP.

Hello Arcola Boys Soccer,

Today at practice we will be handing out a paper that details the plans for uniform collection and the end of the season pizza party.  If your son is at practice today, please ask him for the paper. 

I am still waiting for a reply from Upper Merion's middle school AD.  It says on their website that they play middle school soccer at Caley Road Elem. School.  This is the confirmation that I am waiting for.  Hopefully, I will have it this weekend.

I have been asked for information concerning the whereabouts of the last two games.

Upper Merion(11/5) - I am checking on this with the Upper Merion Middle School AD.  I will send this information out to you as soon as I have it. 

Spring-Ford(11/7)- Coach McNelly Stadium,   High School 9th Grade Center,  400 Lewis Rd. Royersford, PA.  19468-2499       Game time is 3:30 for 8th grade with 7th grade to follow.

First announcement,  the game against PV West for today is cancelled and will not be made up.

Here is the schedule for the rest of the season for Arcola Boys soccer.

Thurs, Nov. 1      7th and 8th grade practice

Fri., Nov 2           7th and 8th grade practice

Mon, Nov 5        Game at Upper Merion  (Dismissal and Departure information will be given at practice)

                               7th grade-entire team,  8th grade-core and white teams

Tues, Nov 6         No school, no practice

Wed, Nov 7         Game at Spring-Ford (turf field at the 9th grade center)  Dismisss 2:20, depart 2:35.

My apologies for not including this in the first eblast.  There will not be a 7th grade game due to PV West having lower numbers now than they did in the beginning of the season.

At this point the game on Oct. 31 is still scheduled to be played.  I will be checking the field conditions at lunch and that will determine if the game can be played.  I will send out notice as soon as the decision is made.

The core and green teams should be dressing for the game.  We are wearing our white uniforms tomorrow.

Sorry for the late notice, but we just found out at 1:45 that PV East does NOT have a 7th grade team.  7th grade boys soccer will not be going to PV East.  The 7th grade boys soccer will NOT have practice today.  They will be coming home at the normal time.

Please have the 7th grade players come to school tomorrow (Friday) dressed in shirt and tie again.  We have a home game against OJR.

Hello Boys Soccer,

I noticed a few mistakes on the schedule that I gave to the boys.  The dates are correct, but some of the days are incorrect.  Please correct the following:

10/1  Monday  away   Upper Perk.  This is an 8th grade game only.  7th grade will not be going to this game.

10/3  Wednesday  Home  Boyertown East

10/26  Friday  Away  Phoenixville

Also,  9/25 (tomorrow) is picture day.  All boys must bring in the picture form filled in.  This is mandatory for all soccer players.  You are not required to purchase but the photographers are requiring that each boy hand in a form.

Today is our first home game.  Some items of interest for you.

1.  Please do not park in the bus turn around at the end of the parking lot nearest the soccer field.

2.  Please do not park along the driveway near the softball field or soccer field.  (There is a XC meet today and that is a part of their course.

3.  It is a PIAA rule that spectators sit across the field from the team benches.

4.  All soccer spirit wear order forms are due tomorrow.

Our first game is schedule on Monday which is a day we are not in school.  The game will still be played.  The boys should be at the front of Arcola by 2:30.  It is an away game so we will be wearing our green shirts, green shorts, and green socks.  Please have the boys bring their sweatsuits as well.

The game will be played at the Daniel Boone Middle School.  The address is 1845 Weavertown Road

Douglassville, PA  19518.

Directions:   Travel west on 422.  At the second light, turn right onto North 662.  Go to the second light.  Turn left onto Old Airport Rd.  At the first stop sign turn right onto Weavertown Rd.  Travel about 1/2 mile and turn into the school.  Park near the tennis courts.  The soccer field is near the building in the middle of the fields.
